“Ruling” But Not Governing”-Part 2

Marge Wall’s contribution in comments to ”9 War Mongers and One Man of Peace” clearly deserves contemplation as American’s become increasingly aware of the escalation of ”rulership” vs a governing body ”of, by and for the people”:

 

We are all angry and outraged that our government is trying to cram amnesty down our throats.  Will they use force if necessary?   I think they will. 

An overwhelming majority of Americans are against amnesty for 12-20  million illegal aliens and a guest worker program.The majority of Americans want our laws enforced, our border secured and a curtailed immigration policy.So why is our government so insanely intent on a course of action opposed by the people?Are you also asking questions?   Are there sinister motives?   Am I being an Alarmist?  Are they just stupid or arrogant?  What is going on? 

Why are the American people being ignored and treated with contempt by the government that they elected? 

I have never been much for conspiracy theories but I find myself questioning all that is happening.  I no longer accept anything at face value so I suppose I must be paranoid because I look for hidden objectives in every inane, treasonous and mind boggling action of our government.  

 “Our government” now that’s a misnomer on a grand scale.   

It is no longer “Our government” for it certainly does not represent the will of the people.   

If we are going to be honest, we will admit to ourselves that our government has not truly represented us for a long time.Perhaps we should start asking whose government it really is.  Who does it represent?  President Bush of what country? 

This president along with the hierarchy in the House and Senate have done more to harm America and the average middle class American than any foreign enemy has ever done.   

I want to know why our elected representatives, irrespective of political party, not only allow Bush to continue with policies and actions that harm the country and the American people but, those elected representatives are actively doing all they can to help him.  I not only want to know why….  I NEED to know why! 

Politicians of both parties have become so detached from Americans that it’s as if they live somewhere else.  Our elected representatives thumb their noses at us and treat us like throw-a-ways and we allow it…..What has happened to our country?   For a while we were so divided and hateful to one another that it was easy to manipulate us.   

These comments are still relevant….. 

What are the most effective ways to control people? Think about it……..The basic ones are ……. FEAR…. RELIGION… PATRIOTISM…. Frighten people when they begin to balk.     Distract them! We had so many terror alerts it was becoming ridiculous.  Remember? 

Question their faith when they question you.  

Question their patriotism when they question you.  

I fear those tactics will be employed again and I pray they do not succeed in distracting or dividing us.   

I also worry that the executive branch of government is becoming too powerful and independent.We should all be concerned that there is not enough oversight to keep our country from becoming a pawn for the benefit and enrichment of a nefarious few.   

An earlier reference to Mexicans, “They are in our political system at every level in record numbers that transcend their legal percentage in this country.”  

The recent figure on the population of the USA is 300 million. Mexicans and all other Hispanics total 42.7 million and that is .14233 percent of the total population. YET our politicians treat them as though they were the majority.   Explain that please. The president puts the National Guard on the border then refuses to arm them?     Armed Mexicans cross the border and fire upon a Guard outpost and they retreat.   Explain that.  

Did you ever wonder how so many Third World “Immigrants” can afford to start a business when So many Americans cannot?  

We must hold our elected representatives accountable IF our country is to prevail and remain the America that we have loved and fought for.Right now elected representatives do not consider themselves accountable to anyone least of all us.    

Do any of us really enjoy being talked to as if we are slightly retarded?  Have you noticed that smirk on a politician’s face as they patiently explain why something is not what it seems but is probably just beyond our capacity to understand or grasp and they will condescendingly make the supreme effort to explain it to us anyway.  We are such an annoyance.   

Mexico, with the compliance and active assistance of Global interests, is poised to take over this country without firing a shot.     Within a five year period they will be dancing in our streets.  (Or rather what used to be “our” streets”) 

America as we know it will quickly cease to be. That is an undeniable fact.   

Until the dictates of corporate greed are conquered and common sense is applied to the immigration policies of this country we will continue see a steady decline in every aspect of American values and quality of life until we are no more. 

I hold the government responsible, culpable, liable and I question their ability and intention to serve the people.        Their actions constitute treason by any definition. 

I have no doubt that proud American citizens of whatever heritage are prepared to protect their country and their way of life.   I do not now nor have I ever questioned the loyalty and dedication of those who are Americans.   

I do question and take exception to those who express loyalty with another country and use a hyphen to declare that divided allegiance.Any responsible person understands that a country which does not protect it’s borders or enforce it’s laws cannot remain a country for long.  Without sovereignty there is no country.  

When sovereignty is compromised by the dictates of another country or by business or private interest groups no matter why or how it is “explained”, that country will self destruct because it cannot continue to exist as an independent nation. 

Once you finally realize and accept that Globalization and sovereignty are not compatible you gain a different perspective and more insight into what is happening in America and the WHY becomes obvious. 

Here is a bit of simple logic for everyone to mull over.The European Union contains no “Third World” countries for if it did, it would not work. 

What is now proposed is a corruption of the European Union and is not an accident or the result of ignorance but a deliberate attempt to create a giant business arena on this continent to be achieved by what can only be described as the subjugation of American citizens and their eventual demise.I believe that the many whoevers behind this endeavor are planning well into the future and trying to emulate the worker situation in China and India to name just two.   

The rule of many by the few.  A worker Nation without sovereignty or borders.

  The difference between Ron Paul and ALL the others is his record. Through almost 20 years of service his record demonstrates “he walks his talk.”  Research their records compared to what they say! Anybody can say anything, it doesn’t make it true. The proof is in the demonstration/execution. I’m conservative and have been a loyal Republican for many years.  I blindly voted for George W. Bush once when I was stupid & gullible enough to believe what I heard. Regan cautioned Americans repeatedly, “Trust, but verify”. We evidently forgot the most important part of that wisdom; VERIFY!

At one time I thought we American’s were intelligent people but ignorant remarks like the above seem to validate the contrary & really tick me off, just like the idiots applauding Rudy (Goebbels) at the last debate. Stop trying to show off your ‘profound philosophical idiocy’ and know what you’re talking about when you say something. If any of us had bothered to ‘verify’ George Bush’s pandering campaign propaganda, none of us, who has this country’s best interest at heart, would have voted for him. Our self proclaimed “compassionate conservative” president has sold us out and stripped all our liberties. What loyalty do we owe him, the GOP, or our “do nothing” to prevent him 109^th congress & senate? George Bush is a dictator. The new legislation he signed May 9^th without any congressional oversight is proof, as if we needed anymore. He undoubtedly has another grand reprehensible episode planned for US because there is a reason for everything he does, proven. If he’s getting his direction from a god, it’s not the God I know, but that’s a different topic.

We all need to get off our lazy, incurious, apathetic, blindly loyal, gullible, trusting butts and check these jerks out.  And if we want to continue allowing media and the power elite to dictate who can become president in this country we will continue the “evil & lesser evil” status quo with no hope for change. The only way to get the powerful elite out of the White House is to be active and informed to vote in the Primary election. If we keep electing “the money” that panders to lobbyist and special interest groups, despite what they tell us during campaigning, our voices will continue to be silenced. I keep hearing people say Ron Paul doesn’t have a chance because he doesn’t have the millions behind him some of the others do. This will be true and continue to be the case unless people get behind him & demand media stop limiting our choices. Those with the millions and the power have demonstrated their interest is in the money! They will serve the money, not the people; we cannot allow this to continue. By the time we get to the general election, we’re following the ‘dictated’ path. Media & elite will always cater to the money group who pays them the big bucks. If we don’t stop this one more act of tyranny it will truly be part of this nation’s demise.

Research these people. Where they have been, what they have done is where they will take us. Read the facts!

The Constitution; Learn it or Lose it

America, it’s people, our society teeters on a precipice. Our choices, our awareness, our actions will determine if we are to return to a “free” nation. Conventional wisdom subscribes that a “free” society will only remain so if it’s people are dilligent to protect it. Ignorance, disinterest, indifference, blind loyalties, gullible acceptance, or general laziness of this generation of “free Americans” will surely be the demise of our liberty. Search yourself. A country’s government is a direct reflection of it’s people. Read the Constitution, OUR Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Indepencence, The American’s Creed.  Great political debates ensue today as our uncertain future unfolds. I pray Americans will awake from their ignorance and apathy before the chains of enslavement are heavy upon us.

When Dr. Ben Franklin was asked in 1787 what type of government was bestowed upon this nation he replied a clear warning issued as a challenge to his generation. American’s today are seemingly bereft of great leaders  who inspire us to think and encourage education  and awareness. We have become disillusioned with our political system as year after year, election after election we intently hear politicians promise to lower taxes, restore our economy, practice responsible foreign and domestic policy, and reduce a mamoth federal government, etc. Yet year after year and election after election we get the same inane results. We the people know things aren’t right as our standard of living diminishes,  our nation fragments and our inalienable rights continue to fade away. Outcries for “democracy” can be seen & heard

Now, come on. We all know how “fair & balanced” the press/media are. Many of you are asking yourselves, “What’s he ranting about now?”Did you watch last night’s debate (FOX News’  Compassionate Conservative Monologue)? Did anyone else see 9 warmongers and 1 man of peace? Why are we in Iraq??? What was the root cause of 9-11??? What was the root cause of the bombing of the U.S. military barracks in Beirut??? What was the root cause of the taking of the U.S. embassy in Tehran???

Before you answer, remember that if you have an opinion that opposes King George’s views, you are NOT patriotic, therefore you ARE a traitor, and therefore you CAN, and most probably WILL, be detained by the Federal govermment with ABSOLUTELY NO habeas corpus because Attorney General Gonzales has stated, on the record, that there is NO Constitutional guarantee of habeas corpus.Therefore you will most likely rot in jail, never to be heard from again!Not true, you say? I challenge everyone of you to take a close, a really close look at the so-called “Patriot Act”. You will discover that this UN-patriotic act has summarily dismantled the “Bill of Rights” — the American citizens’ last line of defense against a greedy, powerhungry, treasonous government.

Attention GOP and Media! We’ve had enough!

Calling all Patriots and lovers of Liberty;

Listening to the news all day, usually every day, I’m constantly infuriated by the never ending “spin” on information we’re fed.

During the Republican debates I used MSNBC’s website to vote on questions to ask, participated in their “Interactive: Rate the Candidates” and checked out the rating for all before and after the debate. Congressman Ron Paul’s rating is the highest of all after the debate. He did a great job! Out of all the candidates participating, his history and record for truly being a consistent “Constitution Man”, voting all the issues according to our Constitution; for the common good for our country and its people, his record clearly speaks for itself.

I found Congressman Ron Paul last summer during some other research and started watching his activities then. I had just about given up hope of finding a truly scrupled person in our political body that actually “walks their talk” rather than the usual lip service paid to our Constitution. They swear an oath to uphold and protect it, yet they vote and write more laws to circumvent it. It seems like the majority think a Constitutional solution to running our government and our country is impractical and anyone who believes practicing it’s premise provides our answers is naïve in today’s complex world. I guess that would that make our founders idiots, their blood and fortunes spent to form it and the 200 + years we actually thrived as a free and prosperous nation all lost in vain. Who are they kidding? Do they think we are complete fools? Our resources today are undoubtedly more sophisticated than the 1700’s, but don’t let them fool you, that should only enable us to more easily govern by our tried and true founding principles. There are NO holes in our Constitution and Bill of Rights! I knew if Ron Paul would run for President and win, “We the People” would win our country back and he would take US in the right direction for the first time in many decades.
In these perilous times of high crimes and corruption in our government body I’ve researched and checked out every actual and potential presidential contender while watching them all closely to see whose interests they are representing and their intent for our country. Not one other candidate can claim the unwavering dedication to our founding principles that Congressman Paul consistently demonstrates. I’ve watched video’s as he addressed congress on various critical issues and was impressed not only with his no nonsense style, but his great knowledge, understanding and foresight on each issue. Congressman Paul is well equipped and very qualified to lead this country in the direction it needs to go.

Checking out MSNBC’s “Picking the President” section only 7 of the 10 contenders were listed. In other words, stupid American robot dummies, we (media) will allow you to pick a president from the list we provide you…we’ll get you ready for the elimination early, we’ll appease you with an unbiased facade by allowing them in the early debates, but don’t expect truly fair representation because we control who will and will not be allowed to run…feel familiar??? Checking every poll I can find for the top runners completely disputes the daily mantra about the “top 3″. Congressman Ron Paul is the favorite in every one of them, but do you hear that from our media? I’ve had enough!

I’m tired of this tyrannical overthrow of FREE America, the country that I love. I’m tired of only being given choices between “evil and lesser evil” presidential candidates who leave us with treasonous, corrupt, self-serving dictators like King George and all the others like him, who continually strip our freedoms, trample all over our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and sail what few precious liberties we have left down a wicked river of no return under the guise of “security and prosperity”. And I’m tired of media’s cooperation with this sinister and egregious system that stifles the will of the people by both limiting and twisting information.

WE THE PEOPLE have choices! But we will only be able to exercise our rights if we stand up and reclaim them!

The 2008 presidential election is every bit as important as our separation from Britain to become a free nation!

With Florida and South Carolina pushing up their primary elections, our choices for “liberty” vs media, corporate & elitists “top” darlings, can be more easily pushed out.

If you don’t want to lose every shred of what little freedom and liberty we still possess today you better all decide to take a stand against these atrocities.

Media was designed to serve and inform the public. DEMAND they do their job and quit squeezing your options out!

I’ve written the following email to the media and the GOP.

You can either copy, sign your name and email it to media; (if you need addresses you can email me and I’ll provide them), or write your own, but get those emails out to PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS and save the quickly fading light of hope for this nation and our future.

Attention GOP and reporters,

You better wake up and realize the contenders you’re pushing as the top 3 for the primary are just about as popular and appealing to the majority as the Mel Martinez appointment to Chair the National Committee. I, along with many registered Republican’s, am keeping my registration with the Republican party for the sole purpose of voting for Ron Paul in the primary. Many democrats have decided to change their registrations to republican for the same reason.

Despite Congressman Paul’s popularity with citizens at large, garnered mostly through the internet, you continue pushing YOUR favorites in order to push out these qualified viable alternatives. Republicans and Democrats alike are fed up. We want OUR government, o”f the people, by the people and for the people” back and YOUR favorites do NOT present us with that representation.

Do your jobs, both politicians and media are supposed to serve the people, not the money. These continual attempts to keep us ignorant and silent is brewing widespread contempt. You decide how you want to influence it.
